The most painful thing about Nigeria is that We're not fighting an external war,

The most painful thing about Nigeria is that We're not fighting an external war,

Every Crisis ongoing right now is internal!!

This shows how Vulnerable We are as a Nation!!

During EndSars Protest in 2020, many young  people lost their Lives,

During The Sunday Mass in Owo, (Ondo State)   Many Persons never made it back home alive,

Now it's Flood and yet again many People are losing their Lives, their Properties, and valuable document which they toiled for years to acquire,

At Bayelsa State they've battled with Sea - Pirates for so long,  right now, everyone just prays for Survival,

Just recently in this same Nigeria, several illegal connections to Oil were discovered,

The same Law  which guarantees  Freedom of Expression & Speech as seen in Section 39 of the 1999 CFRN is only used as a protective shield for some class of persons,

Not to address the prices of goods which has risen beyond control.  Rice is now #200 for one cup, families are now struggling to feed at least two Square meals a day,

Crime: Kidnapping, arm robbery, terrorism, prostitution, cybercrime have become a norm in Society,

When you visit Prisons, you realize that, the bulk of persons there are young people, who continue to spend the rest of their lives locked up in an empty room of regrets,

I forgot to add  that in Nigeria, Human life which should be our fundamental priority holds no value, so much killing here and there (HUMAN LIFE??????)

Another dangerous crisis in Nigeria is division and tribalism. You would hear so many people innocently declaring "One Nigeria" but if you truly interface with people from different ethnic groups, you'll realize everyone seems to have a different opinion, every tribe feels like they have been  forced into forming this Nation,

We don't believe we are one, some believe they're the legal Landlords, others want secession, while others feel like they're the minority

And honestly, You can't force Unity or Love, it has to come from the heart, the people have to willingly come together to agree and draft a new Constitution which can equally represent every tribe, not the one which was handed over to us from colonization.

How can an independent nation, continue to modify an instrument which was handed over to them during their years of struggle for freedom

Are we still going to Wait???

What exactly are we waiting for before we decide to speak up??

We're not waiting until someone else becomes a Victim of these circumstances!!

SPEAK UP
