Those plotting to kill me will die first-Wike

Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, has hinted at threats to his life in the ongoing crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying those plotting to kill him will die first before they get to him.

The Governor declared: "Enough is enough of using and dumping Rivers in PDP" insisting that since 1999 the state had provided more support in terms of votes and resources than any other State.''

Wike said he would never buckle under any threat or intimidation and would not kneel down to beg anybody.

He mocked those asking him to and beg some people saying it was unthinkable for him as Rivers Governor to do so.



He boasted that nobody could buy him or entice him with appointments at the national level noting that his battle was not personal but for the interest of Rivers.

He accused his detractors in the party of negotiating with President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2019 general elections and pulling down PDP in 2015.

2023: Economist intelligence unit projects Tinubu’s victory

presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has stated in a new country report. It stated the chances of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar have been significantly reduced by the internal crisis in the party.  His chances, the report further predicted, have been narrowed by the growing popularity of Peter Obi, the candidate of Labour Party (LP), in the South-East, which is traditionally the powerhouse of the PDP.
