John Udoedehe and the changing Narrative of Akwa Ibom 2023 Guber Poll.

New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and her governorship candidate, the enigmatic Senator John Udoedehe has succeeded to RESET the standard of political communication and engagement in Akwa Ibom State. No Governorship Candidate ever in the history of Akwa Ibom State has contemplated a campaign beyond the Local Government level. None except the homegrown, affable, very social and down to earth brave and courageous Akpanudoedehe can meet the Karl Marxist's proletariat at wards and Village level to organise them to vote against the bourgeoisies that have used governance and politics to intentionally keep them in servitude. From August 9 2022, Sen John Udoedehe has been on the roads to engage the masses what NNPP shall do differently in their best interest if elected in 2023. 

Yesterday, Wednesday, 2nd November 2022, Akpanudoedehe and his team were at Ubium South in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area to interface. We counted 1115 persons at Ikot Uboh Primary School where the townhall meeting took place. We had a jubilant crowd and very enthusiastic youth, women and the elders asking and interacting with "Senator John Udoedehe we have been hearing of". None of them however knew how much Nsit Ubium Local Government Area received last month as allocation to the local Government nor can they say what the Local Government Chairman has done with the funds he receives on their behalf. They, like in other wards and Local Government we have visited, admitted that Government keeps them in ignorance and poverty and uses same to control them. 

Sen John Udoedehe has held this kind of incisive, robust and very engaging political conversation in 156 of 329 wards of Akwa Ibom State so far. He has met in person, by direct interface 167,256 persons by near accurate head count. He has displayed and answered questions about his Agenda for the masses and as at today in Akwa Ibom State, there is no stadium to contain this kind of supporters if we were to ferry them to Uyo for a mega rally. Again, no governorship candidate ahead of the 2023 general poll in Akwa Ibom State, has attempted this feat. 

If by tomorrow, you find a governorship candidate in your ward coming to consult you, know Senator John Udoedehe caused it. He sets the pace and others follow. Senator John Udoedehe has demystified politics, governance and a new reward system is enrout Akwa Ibom State if he becomes governor in 2023. He wants women to trade. He wants youth to become merchants. He wants a partnership that will bring Aba, Onitsha, Lagos to buy goods from Akwa Ibom State to their domain. He wants Akwa Ibom youths, instead of begging, to start planning how to go to China, Dubai, UK, USA to bring at least 40ft containers of good to berth at Uyo, Ikot Ekpene, Eket, Oron.

No Government in Akwa Ibom State has ever admitted there is money to develop the people and cause trade to create wealth and jobs. The average Governor, Senator, House of Representatives or House of Assembly, Local Government Chairman or Councillor in Akwa Ibom State which the electorate have come across will say that "ke mkpo ibaha" for the people and goes ahead to drop "chicken change" as empowerment for those who voted them. The people are not at the centre of their politics here. That is why in the last 23 years of democracy in Akwa Ibom State, there is no Policy whatsoever to drag the people out of poverty, create employment and close the gap of inequality. John Udoedehe with his NNPP enters the space with an Economic Stimulus Plan that offers for a start, N1,000,000 each to 1,000 persons in each of the 31 Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State for trade and investment to reduce unemployment, poverty and Hunger which now stands at 51/57/85% respectively. In a cluster of 10, he want to empower the business conscious Akwa Ibom youths to become entrepreneurs. 

If you find any governorship candidate who promises a  N50b Poverty Eradication Trust Fund or creating five Millionaires in each Local Government Area, just note the fellow is counterfeiting Senator Akpanudoedehe's Economic Stimulus Plan. They want to win polls and loot. In 2011, Akpanudoedehe proposed to build ten industries in the original ten Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State. Sensing the people were moved to his ambition, Chief Akpabio, then a sitting governor seeking a second term, promised to build 31 industries, one in each Local Government Area. With huge finances and the media, he confused the people, diverted their attention and rigged the poll. At the end of his tenure, he did not build even a shop!

Note that originally, Pastor Umo Eno, the system man, is contesting on the crest of Continuity while Sen Bassey Albert, a breakaway from the corrupt and oppressive PDP system runs on the point that it is the turn of Itu Ibiono Federal Constituency to produce the next governor. Whatever they later bandy as blueprints is the flesh that covers the skeleton of greed for power   which has no bearing on fighting Poverty, creating wealth and closing the gab of inequality among the masses. No matter how they try to counterfeit our team, they can never explain nor justify the policies because they didn't originate it nor can they execute it.

Senator John Udoedehe is the star boy, the standard bearer setting the right agenda for the masses ahead of Akwa Ibom State 2023 governorship polls. He is explicit, compelling, bold and very focused on the stuff that connects the masses. He hold the winning streak first above every other party in 2023. He comes from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital City with a voting strength of over 300,000. Uyo is in need of massive urbanisation if she is to retain her township status and not become a slum with shanties like old York. None but an Uyo man like Akpanudoedehe can give Uyo the attention to keep its status as the number one "City State". 

My interface with Uyo people shows they understand that they cannot afford to miss an Udoedehe as governor in 2023! Senator John Udoedehe is the only Governorship Candidate that has shared power with Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District. His deputy comes from Essien Udim Local Government Area. Essien Udim has about 120,000 votes. Connect the dots then buckle your seat belt and watch the changeover game from PDP representing the old and restrictive Akwa Ibom State and NNPP representing the New, better and prosperous Akwa Ibom in 2023.
