RESOLUTION OF YESTERDAY'S PRESS BRIEFING OF YORUBA NATION AND BIAFRA NATION.

      Our Purpose Are Aimed At Achieving Two Separate Nation Set;

One for Yoruba people and the other for Biafra. Moreover, as the record abundantly and clearly show the past of our two struggle has been different.

Inevitably, the two struggles will continue to operate along different but pharrell lines yet with humility before God, we recognize and acknowledge that the two struggles has the same purpose which is the liberation of our two peoples and their separate nations from enslavement in Nigeria.

To liberate them from Nigeria poverty generating direction, from endless suffering, marginalization and oppression. We will henceforth, we the two nations seeking for self determination will henceforth work together as two brotherly nations seeking freedom, progress and prosperity.

We are confident that by doing this, we shall make each of our struggle stronger and we shall precipitate faster attainment of our goals.

This is the major statement of today.

      But there are two issues we must now touch upon before we end this program.

One is that we the leaders of Biafra and yoruba self determination struggles hereby jointly and firmly demand for the release of our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Nigeria custody. The Nigeria court has ordered  the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from the unlawful captivity and detention by the Nigeria authority. The court also ordered that they should return him from where they picked him from and should be paid 500 million naira from his unlawful ordeal. We therefore demand that Nigeria should obey his own court in this matter.

      Second point is the IBADAN court case before the Nigeria high court in which chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho sued the Nigeria federal govt and the department of the state security services for the savage incursion of his home and destruction of his properties in IBADAN on June 1st 2022. The violation of his human and civil right and the unlawful killing of two persons in his house.

      According to the record, the high court awarded 20 billion naira in damages to chief Adeyemo Igboho in a judgement against the Nigeria govt and it's agents. Court also ordered a very important ruling that self determination is an innaliabl right anywhere in the world and Sunday Igboho advocating for Yoruba self determination is not a crime under any law in Nigeria.

We are also aware that the Nigeria authority has been engaging in their accustomed unlawful manipulation. We want the Nigeria government to know that we the Yoruba and Biafra nation stand with Sunday Adeyemo. We stand by him until he gets justice.

Signed:

Prof Banjo Akintoye

Chief Dr Sunday Adeyemo Igboho

Prof Wale Ademira

Mazi Simon Ekpa

Honourable Madam Azuka Nwankwo.
