Manchester United's Mourinho Sent Off After Clash With Referee

After a tumultuous week in which he had suffered the torment of humiliation at his old Chelsea stamping ground and revealed the loneliness of hotel life in a new city, there was a whole new range of indignity for Jose Mourinho, sent from the dug-out as Manchester United toiled to a frustrating draw with dogged Burnley.

Mourinho already faces a touchline ban after being charged by the Football Association on Thursday over remarks concerning referee Anthony Taylor before the recent 0-0 draw at Liverpool.

The problems are piling up for Mourinho, whose out-of-touch side finished with 10 men after midfielder Ander Herrera received his second yellow card of the game 20 minutes from the end.
